Part Story

This 3R pinion yoke fits the GM 7.5" differential. It takes the Dana strap kit 2-70-48X and includes a new pinion seal (part # 40006689).

This pinon seal will be necessary on all applications before 2000. In 2000 GM started using a synthetic oil which required a triple lip seal with a larger ground hub diameter. The Seal OD of 2.660" fits all year models. Its the 1.692 ID that will only fit this yokes sleeve style hub.

This is the same as the GM part number 7827670.
